Wanna see my board?

I'll give it a day for the oil to bed into the wood.....then hopefully take it to the waves tomorrow.

Thanks to Traditional Surfing for their advice re: linseed oiling.

A project dear to your heart Sue, I can't believe how quickly you have reached this end stage! Now the fun starts. Enjoy the inaugural surf. x

Wow! Looks fab. Love the colours and the 'vintage' feel. Let us know how you get on with the board. :-) Could be a nice new side line? xo

When you go down to the beach tomorrow remember to take your order book.... Everyone will want one... Did you want to start a new business? The board is fantastic. Congratulations.

Thanks for all your kind comments. :-) The board (Gladys by name) got her inaugural wetting yesterday afternoon at Chapel Porth, near St Agnes and in choppy, unpredictable surf rode beautifully. We're off to Gwithian, maybe this evening after work for another play.
