Another from my sketches of seaside people.......this was a lovely group, obviously all good friends. They had parked right at the top of the beach carpark with a distant view of the sea, and just set up their chairs right in front of their car and as far as I could tell, never moved until they left in the late afternoon.

Hi Sue, I have found you again at last, for some reason I couldnt see your new holiday posts before, anyway here now. My favourite is the young man on the cliff top, I especially like the scribbly lines around his shirt sides. Penny.
hi Penny,
Glad it's showing for you now. Thanks!
Just to say, I like this little sketch because it reminds me of when I was little going on holiday with my grandparents. Very British, very lovely
Thanks, Marisa. They reminded me of the same thing too! Very old-fashioned British, he only lacked a knotted hankie on his head! :-)
Such nice expressions on the faces. I have such a difficult time getting the same degree of detail on faces as on do on the rest of a body.
They were such a lovely group. I don't know that they actually went to look at the sea at all; they seemed to stay by their car all day! :-)
lovely work Sue! (blimey...wish I could paint like you!)
